[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't think I would get much use for this little pot but I was wrong, I use it quite often. It is the perfect size for heating milk for a large mug of hot chocolate, a can of soup, melting chocolate chips, gravy, sauces, as well as melting butter. The pouring spout is great for transferring what is in it to another container without spilling it and making a mess. It is of a good weight and the finish has a mirror shine. It has even heating across the bottom. It is very easy to clean. I hand wash it with an sos pad and have had no scratches or discoloration. In case you are wondering, it holds a little more then 16 ounces. It's a must have.

As a wife and mother who cooks a ton, I jumped at the chance to try the Farberware Classic Stainless Steel 0.625-Quart Butter Warmer. I was not aware of this product beforehand and could foresee multiple uses in the kitchen. While this cookware piece would be ideal as a melting pot and to reheat single servings, I can't help but be disappointed by the quality of the "stainless steel" design. After one use, the inside of the pot is already showing signs of rust. Because of this, I question the longevity of this cookware in an active kitchen. I would not buy the Farberware Classic Stainless Steel 0.625-Quart Butter Warmer, nor would I recommend it to others.

Please note that this butter warmer is constructed with 18/0 stainless steel therefore, it doesn't contain nickel which assists in providing some rust resistance. We did this keeping our consumers who have nickel allergies in mind so that they can also enjoy the benefits of cooking on stainless steel. To avoid this from happening, we recommend drying your item immediately after washing. I used this for the first time to pour gravy into a gravy boat. It was perfect - no spills. It also heated the gravy evenly ~ it is the right size. It would be even better if a lid was offered with this product. But, even without a lid, it is worth the purchase. I highly recommend it. Another Farberware hit!

I make a concoction when popping popcorn and this little beauty handles the butter, parm cheese, etc perfectly. It's bigger than you'd think, yet not too big. It cleans up beautifully, too!

It is perfect for melting butter and adding parm cheese for popcorn night. It cleans up beautifully! I'll bet it would melt chocolate nicely.

I use this on a gas stove and it heats quickly! Great quality; I just wonder if the (strong) plastic handle could melt over time. It barely fits the grate of my gas stove, but I like the compact size. Might make it just a teeny bit wider.
