I was excited to give these as a gift because i knew they would be loved.... i gave 2 sets and recently found out the color did not stay and were even chipping in spots. I was so embarrassed. What do I do now? Purchase another gift? Just disappointed

For convenience - here are some tips to keep in mind when caring for our fashion forward finishes:
-Wash your flatware as soon as possible after use. Some foods can promote staining/corrosion.
-Avoid soaking stainless flatware in water for an extended period of time.
-Avoid air drying if possible. Using a soft cloth to dry is beneficial.
-Do not wash your stainless flatware with any abrasive or acidic cleaning agents and do not soak flatware overnight.
-Do not use steel wool pads or detergent/polish compounds that scratch stainless steel or the coating.

I LOVED this flatware set. The form is great, they have a lovely weight to them, and the matte dark charcoal gray/black color is great. I was so so happy with them. However, after only two trips through the dishwasher (and they say dishwasher safe!!) most of my utensils are now patchy, mostly steel, and just look like they are dirty or moldy. Almost no black at all remains on many of them. I know these weren't expensive, but I'm still really upset and angry, and I'm unwilling to trust any other flatware from BBB now, so I'll have to find somewhere else for a replacement.

I bought 2 sets for a wedding gift and have just been informed that the black is chipping off. How embarrassing! The couple does not have a dishwasher so they are always hand washed. When I checked on a return - it says no return after 30 days. I’m very disappointed in BBB and the product!

These had to be ordered online as they were not in stores. Quite a wait for them to arrive and then when they arrived, they were sadly were more platinum than black. Had to return! Wedding gift fail!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this set about 2 months ago and love them. They match perfectly with my matte black dishes. I do routinely put these in the dishwasher and I have noticed that on one of the forks the matte black finish is rubbing off to reveal a steel color underneath. So far I’m not bothered by it.

My husband and I were interested in getting some black flatware to replace our traditional silverware. These are a great price and our set looks just as depicted. We are considering buying another set to have place settings for 8!! We are very pleased with the product.

These are not a matte black. Like the other reviewer said they are chromium or dark chrome. They do not look like the pic even though the label on the box says satin black

I was super excited for these until they came in and first off they aren't black like I was hoping, they are like a dark chrome, I still thought the color was okay though so I opened them all up only to find that every piece of silverware has the most obnoxious HUGE logo on the back. Will be returning.
