I stock up on these bags when FoodSaver runs a BOGO sale as it puts these bags at the same price (or maybe even a bit less) than bags made by other manufacturers, which, in my experience, are not quite up to the same quality as genuine FoodSaver bags. I've never had an FS bag fail to hold its seal, whereas I can't say the same for bags of other manufacture.
The sealer is great! I have 2. I purchased these bags for years. My last purchase of gallon, quart bags and portion control roll had many that didn't hold seal and maybe even seemed thinner. The portion control bags ripped when I was seperating them. Not good at all. I ended up purchasing another brand I found when I did a search for food saver bags online and it popped up. MUCH less expensive and I haven't had a bag fail yet. Hope this helps if they let it post.

Reliable sealing, good price. Food tastes great as long as you want it to. I've been using these for almost 10 years now. Never had a failure. Wouldn't change a thing.
