I stock up on these bags when FoodSaver runs a BOGO sale as it puts these bags at the same price (or maybe even a bit less) than bags made by other manufacturers, which, in my experience, are not quite up to the same quality as genuine FoodSaver bags. I've never had an FS bag fail to hold its seal, whereas I can't say the same for bags of other manufacture.
I hate to say it, but I can not recommend this material. I just had to toss 5 bags that I made because they would not seal after vacuuming. These rolls used to be made of a heavy material that held up extremely well. The bags made from it could be washed, bleached and reused. The new material is thin, cheap and not up to expected standards. If you ever go back to the quality material let me know. I will come back. As it now stands, however, I am looking for a better material that will work in your excellent machines.

I was disappointed that the bags are actually smaller than the quart bags I have on hand.

Versatile and sturdy. I don't just use them for food. I live in a very dry climate so my pens and ink pads dry out quickly. If I know I'm not going to be using them for awhile, I vaccume seal them and they stay fresh and juicy!
