FoodSaver® VS2130 Vacuum Sealing System in Black

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a must have when you buy in bulk and like to freeze into more convenient sizes. The ability to make your bags the size you need is very versatile. Even though the bags are a bit pricey I save on not having to throw out freezer burned food.

We use it to freeze meat mostly. But when you buy one of these, be sure it has a removeable tray to catch liquids from the food. The one we had did not and the odor after a while caused us to dispose of it. You have to be able to clean out the inside where the suction is applied to the food.

Buy a lot of bulk meats and the food saver prevents freezer burn and they look freshly bought when thawed.

Perfect to seal venison after my husband's successful deer hunt. Hoping the meat is much better protected from freezer burn. Product is very easy to use & works as expected. Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This food saver is good. It nicely seals whatever I put in the pouch. I usually seal my highly perishable veggies with it. Once sealed, they stay fresh for at least 3 days later than when I didn’t seal them.

I needed a newer model as my original was well used and needed to retire after 10 years of faithful service. I love the sleek design and the ease of use.

I got this FoodSaver to replace one I've had for quite some time that I use a lot and love. The first one of these I purchased online came and was defective. The replacement they sent was used. I was told this model is no longer available and I ended up purchasing the upgraded model and I'm happy with that one.
