I am very pleased with this product in Driftwood color. It is modern and fits our tv with storage for all the games/videos/misc. that we have (see photos with baskets added). The price was very good at Bed/Bath/Beyond. The box arrived in good condition (that was not the case when I previously ordered -- and rejected -- the same product from W-yf--r). If you want a real wood version of this, prepare to pay $800+. Given that this was less than $200, I understood that it's not going to be "heirloom quality" -- but that's o.k. b/c when I'm ready for a change in 5-10 years, I won't feel bad about getting something else. I purposely chose the driftwood vs. the black so that it would not show dust very much. The wood tone adds warmth without being too "country" ('80s).
For $269.00 this item is way overcharged. When I ordered this all the information touted was “wood tv stand.” Wood. Wood. Wood. This is actually cheap pressed wood. Maybe $100-$150 value, but certainly not $269.00. Yes, there was one sentence about “high grade MDF.” I would not say high grade. My husband is putting it together now. He had to get out his drill to add a missing hole for a dowel. His first comment on seeing the pieces (for assembly) was “I’m glad it’s going in the family room because it looks to cheap for the living room.” Aside from the missing dowel hole, it has gone together fine. It is sturdy enough but not in the category of “Wood” furniture. Since it’s going to hold the TV I don’t expect the grandsons to be jumping on it. If it’s treated with kid gloves it should hold up for a few years or more. I would not have purchased this had I seen it in person. I ordered it on line.

Because of the length, it's a 2 man job to build and move. Not super heavy and not hard to build. My only problem is the weird locking screws that do not always stay locked, therefore causing issues. Because the screws do not stay locked like I would have liked them too, it makes it difficulty to move. Once I had it set up where I wanted I had to re-lock most of the weird locking screws. It serves it's purpose and is decent looking. I would definitely not buy anything like this again.
Received the product in the mail. First piece on top was broken. Too big to fit into my car to return.
It was tough to put together but it turned out beautiful.
