Forest Gate Metal Swing Egg Chair with Stand in Grey

I purchased this chair for my wife as a gift and for the first summer it was perfect, she loved it. After sore the Egg away for the winter of 2021, then pulling it out for the summer of 2022, the chair was still in mint condition as she store it out of the elements after using for the weekend. By the fall of 2022 the welding started to break away leaving us with no other option but throw it away. The metal is too thin to weld and the wicker rope would need to be completely re strung even if we could weld it again. Overall my wife loved the chair however the quality just isn't there to make this a long lasting product. For the price paid, it just isn't worth the money.

Purchase Date - NOV 28, 2021 from Buy Buy Baby - Order ID - BBB6598613393 , Issue Date - NOV 29, 2022 My wife was sitting with the baby normally and the swing broke from the bottom. I have attached the picture below. While trying to save baby not getting hurt she sprained her ankle. Both mother and baby weigh a total around 160 LBS. I called BUY BUY BABY Customer Service. They gave me Customer Service of Walker Edison and suggested to provide all details to them. Called Walker Edison and I was asked to drop a customer support email to replace a part. I replied asking to provide a new one. (Inquiry Number - 599447). I also did fill an online replacement part form. When the bottom support itself broke not sure what part can be replaced. I cant deny the fact the egg chair broke from the bottom which really kind of surprise what material was used here. I feel this product is hazardous or maybe I am unlucky. Since they made me wait for so many days without a response - dropping this review with 1 star and will never recommend any of Walker Edison products to my friends or colleagues.

This chair is extremely comfortable! I’m obsessed with it! When it came in, I was missing some of the nuts and bolts but they shipped new pieces within a week. It was also easy to put together and feels very sturdy. Highly recommend.

This chair is super cute and comfy.

Just got it in the mail on Tuesday. It's Thursday and I've already spent a good amount of time in it and absolutely love it so far. It was well packaged with no problems from shipping. Easy to put together on my own and didn't take much time. The main rod holding everything up does look like maybe it's ever so slightly set to the right of center, but I have no problem with it feeling unsupportive, leaning, or swinging in that direction. It's very comfortable and seems quite sturdy so far. I'm hoping I get to enjoy it for a long time!

This chair looks really nice and I love it! It is also cheaper than most egg chairs that I saw in other stores.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in love. This chair was so easy to assemble. The directions helped speed the process up but were not needed at all. The chair is super comfy and fun to sit in. My teen and her friends love it. Has been a hit in her room and is light enough to bring into the living room if needed. The cushions on it are easy to remove and wash if needed.
