We liked the option of this umbrella base as it weighed a good deal less than our current one. The based looked nice but had flaws in it. When I tried to brush off the imperfections with my hand the paint flecked off showing a white surface. Returned to the store.
Was expecting it to hold a 9ft umbrella, thus why I bought this larger, more expensive base. Just a light breeze and it tipped over now have to buy a sand weighted bag to place on top of it.
The base was delivered to my home as scheduled. It is a handsome piece. It is serving its purpose- keeping my umbrella stable. That’s all I asked for. I am happy with my purchase. I got it on sale with the additional 20% off.
Did the trick for much needed shade. Perfect with the umbrella I ordered.
I bought this so long ago, I don't remember. But here are 5 stars just to stop the repeating emails.
This is an excellent umbrella stand. Nice an heavy, very attractive and it has held up very well.
I bought this last year and it am still as pleased with it as when I bought it. Great design and color and very heavy concrete base. It will get much use.
only takes up to 1 3/4" poles not 2.25" as stated.
