Freeman® 6 oz. Hawaiian Black Salt Peel-Off Mask

This is not a great product as it burns your eyes and skin when applied. It doesn’t work very effectively either and I wouldn’t recommend.

Upon opening the tube and carefully pouring some of the product onto my applicator brush, it looked pretty runny. I worried it would be a watery, runny mess on my face, but surprisingly it was the perfect consistency once I started applying it onto my face. I did have to spend some time time working it onto my face to create a thin, even layer, but once I got it down I set the timer for the recommended time and began waiting. The mask also has a pleau scent to it that isn’t overwhelming, which is a plus for me since certain scents and fragrances give me headaches. Before I peeled it off, I thought it would be just as painful as other peel-off masks that I’ve used before, but that most certainly was not the case with this one. I waited for it to completely dry and, carefully lifting the edges, I was able to peel it off painlessly in under two minutes. After removing it, my skin appeared brighter and was definitely smooth to the touch. I followed through with the rest of my skincare regimen. The next morning I checked my face for any new breakouts or allergic reaction as a result of trying a new product and I didn’t see anything—which is an important factor in deciding whether or not I’ll keep using a product. I will definitely continue using this product here and there. It gets a five star rating from me.

Excellent peeling with a disk and after it a mask, the skin after application feels clean and matte, inflammation disappears. I apply every 10 days. The packaging is convenient, the mask pattern is comfortable for my face. The mask refreshes the face and evens out the tone, gives a feeling of good hydration. There is something satisfying about peeling off a mask sometimes. It does not irritate my sensitive skin, while still helping to remove debris. As a bonus it is also kind to the wallet.

This mask of fun to use in a girls night! I know they can be harsh on your skin and sometimes have no actual benefits but they are still fun to use every now and then! And these are always a reasonable price!!

I dont really particularly have a lot of blackheads or anything like that. This mask was described as purifying and making the skin smoother and brighter after one use. I felt the formula itself was very goopy and runny but still had some viscosity to it. I believe it said to take 10 to 15 minutes for it to dry down but I think it took way longer for everything to dry evenly. Even so, it didn't really peel very well for me. And I found it running down my face as I was waiting for it to dry. I found it to be pretty gummy feeling overall and I don't think it really did anything for my skin. It was kind of a pain to get off too. I wouldn't repurchase or reccommend.

I purchased this as an alternative to the Boscia charcoal mask which I really like but unfortunately this does not work the same. This formula dries & feels more rubbery. It’s not as opaque formula as the Boscia and no matter how much I apply it takes much longer to dry down. The worst part is no matter how much I apply it always starts running down my chin while Im waiting for it to dry down. I did find that it pulled out some blacked heads but not all of it.
