Fresh Air Odor-Free Kitchen Compost Collector

I bought this composter and the bags. The bags dissolve. Then the liquid leaks onto the base of the composter. When you pick up the composter and make the mistake of tilting it I little bit, the gross liquid spills out. It isn’t pleasant.

The design seems to help in terms of keeping the air flow around the composting bag and so keeping it dry somehow. Previously in a normal compost bin, this bag used to leak and create a puddle at the bottom. So far this seems to work well and I haven't seen any puddles and it does seem to keep the odor away somehow. Seems good so far

A bin that fits my compost bags. Filling the bags to their maximum is just the beginning. The ease of cleaning, and the good looks are a close second and third. THANKS!

I’m on my third one of these I really like how the lid operates however after a year or two something ends up breaking in the spring loaded hinge mechanism and there’s really no way to fix it. Full circle do you have a solution to this? The latest I design appears identical to the one I first when I got five years ago.

I think it’s very well designed and definitely helps with the smell that comes from composting! However, I was not aware that you always have to use a bag. Maybe that was clear on the description but I don’t remember reading that.

We love using this little bin for our compost since our area started requiring food waste to go in the compost bin instead of trash. The compostable bags mean we don’t have to just throw loose food in our compost bin and it really does keep our kitchen odor-free.

This is a wonderful composting container! Had it a week. No odor. Holds several day’s composting waste. Not too big; not to small. Overall - delighted.

Just ordered the second one because my first one broke after 5 years of hard use. This is the only compost bin on the market that will reduce odor and mess IF YOU USE THE RIGHT BAGS. The other reviews that said it creates a huge, gross mess used regular bags. Just buy proper compost bags, and be prepared for some minor annoyances. I really wish they'd designed it a bit sturdier as we're two home cooks with two hungry kids. That's the only reason I took off a star.
