Picture is not of actual product. The round base is 2" deep to accommodate the ballast, not 3/4" as in picture. Kind of chunky and not elegant. Also the fluorescent tube is not dimmable. The other models are dimmable and say so, this isn't and doesn't say so. Well made and looks good- just not well represented in the ad.

I really like the look of these lights. Bought a pair to flank a mirror in a powder room. I wish I had known that the light was so white. It is comparable to a florescent which I dislike. I am sorry I bought them for this reason only. They are very attractive and seem well-made. It is an lcd "strip" that has a very long lifespan.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had three of these installed on my mirror for almost two years. I really like them aesthetically and functionally. As stated in another review there is a slight delay in lighting up. Mine are on dimmer which is a plus.
