After suffering too long through using a cheap, college-era purchased knife block, I upgraded to this set and cannot imagine using any other knife brand again. Every single blade in the set came out of the box razor sharp, effortlessly slicing through anything on my cutting board (even did the paper test before and could cut slivers out of it!). The handle ergonomics are amazing, and despite considerable heft and slight blade-heavy balance on the larger kitchen knife, the hand-feel is very comfortable. The single-piece construction and sleek visuals makes these knives feel like a collector's item in addition to being a chef's best friend, and I'm confident I'll be able to use these for years on.
