Hario V60 Pour-Over Kit

I love how small this is! I can store it away in the cabinet with no trouble. Right next to my demoted French press. :-) It came with the carafe, the pour over piece and filters! High quality too. I can make coffee quickly and it tastes great.

The addition of a Hario V60 kit now completes my "daily toolset" of pour-over instruments. Simple in form, it's a great way to improve your coffee brewing technique. Highly recommended.

Cheaply made. Very disappointed and returned immediately

I missed in the description that the dripper is acrylic. The server is, however, glass. So I'm going to buy a different dripper to go with the server. Sigh.

While the description says it’s made of borosilicate glass, it feels like a gross cheap plastic. Stick to a glass carafe and ceramic or steel dripper and avoid this product.

The Hario V60 is one of the preferred pour-over systems of 3rd wave coffee baristas and shops. This is definitely not the way to "ease your way into the aromatic world of specialty coffee," which is a task more suited to the Bee House or Militia systems. But the V60 does do an exceptional job of drawing out the subtle flavor profiles and nuances that make single origin and speciality coffees so desirable. The catch is that V60 is not at all forgiving and has a higher learning curve than other pour-over systems. The V60 is for the true coffee enthusiasts who is looking to elevate their pour-over coffee experience. The filters are also unique to the system and you won't find them at your average grocery store. In this model the brewer is acrylic and the carafe is glass. The brewer is also available in ceramic and copper.

makes the best cup of coffee i have ever tasted. take a bout 3 mins to brew a cup but well worth it.
