Haven™ Linen Small/Medium Kimono Robe in Gargoyle

Saving this as a gift! And, it is unisex. Love the loose styling.

This robe holds its shape well through multiple washings and gets softer with each one. It’s not warm enough for winter wear. It works great once the weather is a bit warmer, or would also work if you have warm pajamas. Maybe they’ll make some more colorful ones next. It’s also a plus that the fabric was grown without harsh pesticides & herbicides.

I bought this twice and returned it once. So far. First off, they say it is plush when it is a FLAT WEAVE. I hung the first one I got in my bedroom. Around 3am, I woke up with my throat burning, eyes and nose going full allergic reaction. I turned the air cleaner on highest, stuffed robe and bag it came in into another bag and returned it. It fit well, grey color is ok. The sewing is good. I wanted a lightweight robe and they are hard to find in natural materials at lower cost. My skin has always been very sensitive and I have to wash the fabric finish out of bedding and almost all clothing before using. I decided to give it another try but use the water bottle on it before it got me. I have now hand washed this robe 4 times in a small tub. The 2nd 2 times, I let it soak for about half an hour. Each time, the wash and rinse water contained a decreasing amount of grey, scummy foam. The wet feel on the cloth was kind of slimy. When the bubbles were gone, the residue was cloth fibers. The 4th wash/rinse yielded only a small amount. That actually happens now with a lot of items but not as much as this has done. They are ready to go after 1 wash. What the heck did they use on these robes as a fabric finish—wood glue and hand lotion? Is that sustainable? The images I attached are after wash/soak/rinse 3. The 3rd image is a look at the tub after the bubbles diffused. It was hard to rinse it into the hair-catcher too. My nose still itches when I try it on but not badly. It didn't wrinkle too badly for new linen, likely due to the cotton content. It has a date with a laundromat machine. If that doesn't fix it, it goes back too.

Purchased 2 for me and hubby, Its a good , decent quality, medium weighted linen robes. We like wearing them around the house. However stitching could be better, some edges, like inside the pockets still unfinished per my understanding. True to size. Like it.

I thought it would be nice for summer but it's really poorly cut and shaped and looks terrible. You have to iron it too. It does the job but looks like a box on you.

Soooo disappointed! I thought this would be a perfect after shower robe for warmer months. Washed as instructed and wound up with a wrinkled scratchy mess that is unusable. Unfortunately I was so confident, I discarded the tags. I will repost how my return went.

A well designed, light robe that truly looks like a kimono, has long arms (finally, something that covers my arms, and a nice tie to keep the robe closed. After washing it was soft and comfortable to wear around the house, however, this is not a plush robe.

Nice casual robe for warmer months. It's not something that would necessarily wick moisture after a bath or but instead, work better for modesty afterwards. I have several robes for varying needs. I was initially annoyed that the plastic tag left a hole to keep it together but it wasn't a problem after it was washed. It does wrinkle a bit though which can be annoying with the belt. I like the length of it. My other long robe is heavy and too warm for summer/spring. This is a nice length but not overly heavy. The length of the arms is nice too. I like wearing it while doing my hair and makeup before getting dressed.
