Our island came in three boxes. All components were there. Assembly wasn’t to bad although I had to figure a few things out since the directions weren’t totally clear. The island is very good quality and looks beautifu in our kitchen.

It does take 2 people to put this together with a little patience, but the result is really beautiful and sturdy. Love the countertop finish. Great addition to my kitchen. Priced this very same kitchen Island on other sites for up to $400 more.

The island arrived in three heavy boxes, on time. I assembled the island by myself, would have been much easier with two. Unpacking and assembly took 2-3 hours. It comes with an allen wrench but you will need your screwdriver for assembly. It is advertised as a distressed oak top, mine was not destressed, which I would have preferred. One of the doors came with the knob on the same side as the hinge, making it unusuable. I call to Customer Help on the direction sheet and spoke to a very pleasant woman. They sent me a replacement, without asking for the defective door back. Delivery of the replacement took a little over two weeks. I had to remove the top to replace the door and found that the door would not closed. Suspecting a sprung hinge, I took the hinges off the defective door and put them on the new door, it worked. Finish on top is very thin and has already chipped. The unit is solid wood and is very substantial. The fit and finish could be better. Overall this works for me. I like the small adjustable shelves on both sides, handy for cookbooks and smaller cooking tools.

This island was the perfect addition to my new home. Not only did it give me some seating space in my kitchen, it also added storage space. It is well built and very sturdy. Make sure you have someone to help you put it together, because the assembly is a 2 person job. The instructions are easy to follow, some of the pieces are heavy and require 2 people to get the job done. The look is awesome and I just love it.

This unit came to us in two large boxes. Not easy to maneuver up the stairs. Very esy to put together. Solid construction. Excellent island addition to our galley kitchen. Well worth the money

It is as pictured...don't worry that there will be many extra screws and bolts. I'm going to paint my bottom cabinets black to match. Should look nice.
