This is very easy to use,was surprised I didn’t have to set anything. Pretty accurate also.
This was the only touch less thermometer I could get my hands on. It's made in China so wasn't sure what I would get. Out of the box, it felt really flimsy and even with batteries, it felt like cheap plastic. Instructions were not entirely intuitive but basically you point, press trigger and it beeps when done. It feels like you have to hold the thermometer relatively close to the forehead, but still not touching. The one thing you cannot do is test rapidly from one person to the next. I tried my family and the only way to get it to take an accurate check was to wait for it to turn off (I do not know how to turn it off) and then check the next person. If you do it too fast from person to person, you get really low readings. If you wait enough time between people, then it seems to be accurate (or at least more accurate). However, after taking several temps in a ten minute span for the same person, it did fluctuate. Would I recommend? If you can't find anything else, sure. I think it does hit the mark but sadly not consistently. Good luck.

My husband and I are 97.5o and 97.4o. Just rec'd. It has instructions of + and minus on the battery but that doesn't mean anything when it's going in a tube. Which way is up? And it says to hold 1-5cm from forehead. What's a cm? Had to get magnifying glass out to read instructions. There is a 'Set' button but no instructions. Another thermometer to throw in the shoebox. Whoa--- we're up to 98o and 98.3o!!

Well I got one today 2/17/23 at BJ's in Auburn NY. Come to find out every thing is in English but the thermometer is in Japanese. There is no way to chang it at all.

So very disappointed. It seemed to work well until I had to change the batteries after a couple of months (and after return policy ended). I first thought my batteries might be bad so I went and bought new batteries and it still doesn't work. Now I'll have to find another easy to work one. I don't know if this was defective at the get go or not but I'd suggest taking out the batteries and replacing just to see if it works in the 30 day time frame. If not return it. When it was working it was fine I guess. With just two adults, it's not like it is needed all the time so I would have thought a couple of months on batteries would be sufficient.

This thermometer has great features when it works. The beeping sound on our thermometer is broken, so not sure when done.

Used this for 6 months and now see it’s not accurate. This is incredibly dangerous for kids to not know if they are spiking a fever. Buy buy baby isn’t backing these products and refusing a refund since it’s over 90 days I’d love to see this pulled from shelves. THERMOMETERS NEED TO BE ACCURATE

We have not had an issue with this product at all.
Good, inexpensive unit for general use. Very easy to use with many features. Accuracy is good. Checked this thermometer against instrument grade units and found it was very accurate. Non-contact thermometers are not as accurate as the old fashion mercury types but used correctly this model is within .5 degrees. Read the instructions for proper use.
