I have multiple issues of scoliosis, myofascial pain syndrome, muscle knots and trigger points, peripheral neuropathy and muscle atrophy. The Homedics Percussion Pro is a virtual lifesaver to help me find some relief from pain and tension. I could never afford daily massages, which is definitely what i need, yet my daily use on multiple body parts, is about the next best thing at a cost of less than one massage session. I have been using these for years and highly reccomend this form of modality.

I believe it to be a very good product. It does a number of different things that include massaging your calf, thigh,back, neck as well as your shoulders.

Bottom line: A handle and neck of 15 inches length needs more reinforcing than it presently has. Even moderate pressure to the head over time creates internal damage to cheap plastic posts / screws, and neck eventually completely breaks in half. Details: After several years of normal use, the plastic junction on the underside of the neck came apart due to the weakness of a plastic screw/ post inside the neck (Photos 1 and 2). We reinforced with duct tape; however, after several months of normal use the topside of the neck developed a hairline crack above power/heat control and eventually broke in two (Photo 3). Afraid of electrical shock, we bought another Homedics HHP-350. Will not buy this product again if it appears that the same design flaw exists.

I bought this after my back surgery but to powerful & heavy! Not adequate for elderly or after surgery! It is good if you want a deep massage!
