Hot Wheels® City Ultimate Octo Car Wash

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This car wash held attention of all 3 kids (7 year old boy, 3 year old girl, 1 year old girl). Meant to be played outside, the only minor inconvenience is that you need different temperature water for the car to change colors. My kids favorite was the octopus car wash. I will note it tends to get dusty outside so in order to keep this clean outside it may need to be covered for storage. They have gone back to this toy over and over again and it has been great as an activity during the pandemic! We have also been able to use other hot wheel cars and connect other tracks (we also have the crocodile car wash). I appreciate that this set has the ability to fold for easy storage.

My Grandkids were so excited about this toy. But on the second day of the octopus stop squirting water. I can’t figure out how to fix. This was super pricey too. Waste of money, do not buy.

Stopped pumping water after the third use. Cars also stopped color changing.

My son has only been playing with this for 4 days now and it’s already broken. The octopus will not squirt water out of it’s tentacles anymore. It worked perfect for the first and second day that he played with it and now nothing will come out. It’s like it’s clogged or something? My husband and I have tried to fix it but nothing is working. Really disappointed because it’s not cheap and my son was so excited for it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This car wash is so fun to play with. Warm water to wash the car, ice cold to change color to a new color. Octopus cold water wash dispenser was our favorite part. We have played with this set for hours since we first got it. Both my children and myself have had hours of fun. Best part is the car changes continuously from color to color. Highly recommend this play set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Hot Wheels set it great for any kid who loves water play! My 4 year old is obsessed with "washing" his cars and dinosaurs in the sink or tub. This really hit the mark for two of his favorite things. It does get pretty messy, but Mattel did a good job with the water catch trays (the blue tray that catches the most water is bowed in on the sides and doesn't fit snugly like the red tray does though). It was really quick and easy to assemble too. Everything was numbered and just snapped together. Make sure you buy extra color shifters Hot Wheels to go with it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hot Wheels New Ultimate Car Wash (Octo-wash) is really cool! Set up was pretty easy. The instructions are easy to follow. Just a few snaps and you are good to go. My 7yo could put it together himself, if I let him. It is that easy. It requires warm water and ice cold water. I am sure plain cold water would work without the ice. Use ice for best results. When the excess water containers become full, I just reused it and was able to get good color changing results several times. The kids really loves how huge it was. They enjoy playing it with regular cars and without the water. I think it is awesome! This 28yo mom enjoyes it too!
