I have had many Hunter fans in more than one house. They are the only ones I've found to have completely silent motors. I love this fan. It also reverses, so I can push down the heat in the winter. I didn't need one with lights as I have ceiling lights, but they were good to have. I don't like remote controls, so this one has pull chains. There is a low, medium and high speed. I won't buy any other brand of fan.

I bought two of these fans a year ago -- They are awesome quality, super quiet, they look great and really move some air (I live in Florida) to keep my living room cool.
