iHome® StickVac SV3 Stick Vaccum in Black

Everything else was nice for this vacuum, problem is the power. Trigger function would work for a second and then turn off. Going to give another try with an exchange for an operable item.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The iHome StickVac SV3 is an amazing vaccum for light-duty cleaning around the house. I love that it includes other accessories, like a mini power brush, bristle brush (for air vents), crevice tool, folding tube (one-touch for easy access under furniture), multi-purpose power brush (has a bristle roller that digs deeper into carpet), hard floor power brush (has a soft roller with large clearance), power adaptor, and wall mount. For some reason, I was missing the manual in my box, but alas, I found the online manual via the support site. The HEPA filter in this vacuum is super high quality and really gets up the microscopic dust in your house. The dustbin is a great size, as well, and is uber easy to empty with one touch. I absolutely love the LED light on this vacuum because it helps illuminate all the particles and dust on surfaces that you normally wouldn't be able to see. The battery lasts a long time between charges (up to 90 minutes). We've used it a couple of times and still haven't charged it since we got it - and it still runs amazing! The round LED display on the front easily shows how much power is left. I also love that you can toggle the suction mode between "Eco", "Auto", or "Max". My only complaint is the trigger is not very comfortable. You have to hold it down while you use it, so your forefinger gets sore. I didn't realize that there was a Trigger Lock button on the front of the handle before reading the manual online, but now I know. All and all, this is an awesome cleaning tool to have on hand - especially when you have kids or pets!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ihome stickvac sv3 is the best vacuum that I have had so far when I received the vacuum it came very well packaged and secured after getting everything opened up I put the stick vac together it was very easy to put together and get set up and it's not very heavy so that's a plus when you have to go upstairs and downstairs it's easy to get around the house with and comes with multiple attachments to make vacuuming anywhere in and around the house an ease and even vacuum the car I also enjoy the fact that I can go from a stickvac to a handheld also the in the box comes the hardware so you can hang the vacuum on the wall so that it is out of your way the vacuum has a high and low setting and you can do hardware floors and carpet floors and considering this vacuum is cordless I love that I don't have to worry about keep plugging an unplugging it and I don't have to worry about having enough cord to get around the house the battery is pretty decent if you run the vacuum on high the battery does not last as long but if your a person who just runs the vacuum everyday to touch up the mess from the day you can easily run it on eco mode and the battery will last alot longer but if your someone who just runs the vacuum every few days and have a heavier mess you will need to run it on high and your battery will not last as long I did notice that if you run the vacuum on high for a long period that the battery will get pretty hot so be careful with touching it also the vacuum isn't as loud as a regular vacuum so I love that I can even vacuum later in the evening after I put the kids to bed because it doesn't wake them up because the noise is very low level also the led lights in the front of the vacuum are very bright and make it easy when your vacuuming under furniture even if you had to vacuum in the dark you could do so with ease and you get plenty of attachments to get the job done what ever you may need to get done and there is a small black button that you can use to kind of lock it into place to keep it running instead of holding the power button and it takes about 24 hours to get a full charge from the open of box for first charge the filter is easy to pop out and clean so it makes my life alot easier and it picks pet hair up with ease witch is great when you have alot of fur babies over all this vacuum is a 10 out of 10 and I would highly recommend it to anyone and have had several comments from friends and family who asked where they could get one and my mother-in-law has requested one for Christmas so needless to say I will be purchasing another one for her .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this vacuum for about 1 month and have been relatively pleased with it. My biggest complaint is that the battery doesn’t last very long. I like to use it on Max power, and find that it just barely lasts long enough to vacuum my whole apartment. However it’s easy to use and picks up all of the dirt and hair without any issues!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Other than not being able to clean out the filter, which hopefully will change, the StickVac is easy to use. We have charged it, used it, cleaned out the dirt thing, etc. I like the fact that it is easy to push on carpet and you can see how much battery power is left. My family's cat doesn't like vacuums, but regardless, it isn't as loud as others or as big/bulky. I wish I could put my iPod on it. I love the color too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I should start by saying we have 3 cats and 2 dogs, so the fur is plentiful in our house. I really wanted to love this iHome StickVac SV3 vacuum, but I'm not positive I do. While the unit is lightweight overall, it is pretty top heavy and I found my hand/arm getting tired if I was using it for an extended amount of time. There were a few different attachments, but I mostly just used the standard bristle/carpet attachment (we have a mix of carpet and hardwoods). Although there was an attachment specifically for hardwood floors and another attachment if you wanted to use it as a handheld vacuum. It picked up fairly well on both carpet and hardwoods, but I wish it had the little bristles on the edge of the vacuum head to sweep debris off the baseboards. It did struggle to pick up stray pieces of cat food. There was not enough clearance to go over the cat food and the vacuum would just push the food around instead. I did find it took a bit more effort to push it on the carpet(our carpet is fairly average thickness, nothing super plush). Since we do have a lot of fur, I found myself emptying the collection bin 3 or 4 times when cleaning the entire house and sometimes the debris would get stuck at the top of the canister, making it not as easy to just open and dump into the garbage. I love that it is cordless, but I don't think I can get 90 minutes on the battery as claimed. In my experience, 30 minutes of use on the "auto" suction mode took me from 100% down to 55% battery. In the end, I'll continue to use it for quick cleanups, but I can't see this replacing my normal vacuum.

On carpets although it does vacuum I feel like it’s f harder to push. The battery life is very good and the wall mount is so helpful. I was surprised at how much it weights but can see that giving how long the battery lasts it Can’t be too light. I would definitely recommend this. My main use is for hard floors, car, furniture. Comes with different attachments that make it pretty versatile when cleaning around the house.
