illy® Francis Francis Y5 Milk iper Espresso Machine in Satin

Received and milk did not work, received replacement which took over 2 hours of playing to get milk to work. Machine cooled down took another 2 hours of playing to get milk to work again. Much faster to fly to Italy for a cap.

I love making cappuccino with this machine. The only problem is the water tank leaks slowly. I haven’t found the solution yet. I tried a tank from a previous machine but they did not fix the problem. So I have to drain it after every usage.

Milk frothing initially works great but have to clean frequently and there is no automatic way off doing this.

I purchased one of these in 2016. It had issues fairly quickly that I kept trying to troubleshoot. I finally contacted Illy. They kindly replaced the machine but the replacement one had issues as well. I hesitate to call because the option offered will probably be yet another replacement machine, perhaps that I even have to pay for personally. Even if discounted, I sure don't want to roll the dice again with an Illy Machine, especially after seeing other recent reviews that indicate similar repeat problems with replacement machines. I would recommend choosing a different machine/maker.

Received this machine, and from day 1 I have had trpoubles with out. The touch panel on the top literallynever works. Illy is going to try and replace it, so hopefully we will get this resolved. However, it seems that it was more for looks rather than fucntion. I may stay clear of this one

The plastic is hard to take apart. I wonder if it will last the length of my subscription.

The touchpad stopped working after a short period. I bought two machines and both had the same issue. I did regular descaling and maintenance as described in the manual, and I was more careful with the second machine but it had the same issue. Not recommended
