Imusa Cast 6-1/2-Inch Aluminum Tortilla Press

This doesn't quite do what I thought it would. The tortillas press much thicker than what I was wanting. Also, you have to line it to keep from sticking. I'm guessing a more expensive one would do better.

I used this to press the empanada doiugh and it worked out very well. Lay parchment paper between the dough helps with folding and removal. Press is very lightweight.

It doesn’t make tortillas eve. They become very thin from one side

It's easy to use, makes uniform tortillas, easy to clean up

Cracked at the base of the hinge with the very first tortilla I pressed. Will be returning this and buying a sturdier one.

I bought this tortilla press because it seemed like it was a decent price. I made my first batch of masa and got started pressing my tortillas. It didn’t seem to make them thin enough, even when applying decent pressure. Then halfway through that batch, the handle snapped off. I’ve since replaced with a much heavier cast iron model

Material was too light did not work at all

This press would not flatten the masa thin enough. Half way through my batch of masa, the handle snapped off. It will be going back for a refund once they reopen
