It will not hold two thick towels well, but if you prefer the thinner towels that dry quickly, then this rod will work for you. We like the Nickel finish, as Chrome shows too many fingerprints. Our biggest concern was the projection from the wall, as we have a smaller bathroom and did not want to bang into the rod every time we went into the bathroom. The total projection from wall is 4.77 inches. I would recommend this double towel rack.
The toilet paper holder looks very nice and seems durable. It is a little wider than normal so the paper roll slides left and right. My main complaint is with the instructions. Here are the problems: 1. A template is provided to use for drilling holes, however it is WRONG! It is about an inch too narrow to fit the holder. 2. The instructions say to use a drill with a 5/16" bit to drill the screw holes. This is WAY to big for the screws. 3. The instructions don't list the correct tools. They say you need a "tape" (measure) and a hammer. Neither of which I could see a use for. 4. The instructions don't say that you need a small Allen wrench to undo the set screw. Good thing I had one! I threw away the instructions and figured out how to install the holder myself. It wasn't really very hard to install, but if I'd followed the instructions I would have had 4 extra holes in my cabinet that were too big for the screws.

As previous reviewer said, this one is wider than most holders. Doesn't fit existing screw holes in wall. Will be returned!

Perfect fit
The towel rack is well made But the rods are to close together. Hanging the towel after I use it takes an effort I don't have early in the morning.
