I have fine hair with a slight frizzy wave in it and when I use a flat iron (which I usually do - because I am in a hurry and don't have time to do the whole section by section with a round brush routine), my hair ends up looking super flat and limp. The MAX gives me that blowout look, but I can still be done in about 10 minutes. Looks like round is the new flat! Love it!
I bought this less than 2 months ago to replace the instyler I bought in 2010, I loved it but it was showing it's age. I'm very disappinted that it is not the quality my first one was. I only use it every couple of days but it no longer turns. The smaller one still works fine though. Since their return policy says you can only return within 30 days of purchase I cannot get another one to replace it.

When using the brush my hair gets frizzy and takes a long time to flat iron. Total opposite of what I was expecting.

I do not like the new Max Prime Instyler as well as the original Instyler that I bought years ago. It does not hold the hair as secure and some of my hair falls out of the iron before I get to the end of it.

Like this iron as much as the Airless-just a different size barrel for a different look. Also super easy when I want to straighten.
