InterDesign® Forma Over the Cabinet 14-Inch Towel Bar

I have these on the doors of my sink cabinet. One is for a hand towel; the other is for a dish towel. Both are much more conveniently located than in the past. They are good quality and the only problem I have had with them was when my husband grabbed a towel and pulled the rack off the door on one end. We all know some men are not as careful as others. I would definitely buy these again. Perhaps I'll get some for gifts for family.

Needed towel bar near sink: Using dishwasher "bar" handle=towels dragging on the floor. Ordering a 2nd one to keep dish and hand towels separate. Only 4 Stars: bar didn't want to stay in place. Then found some blue "tacky" pads in a box. Slipped 1 under each "clamp". Now firmly in place. Suggest manufacturer add to instructions.

This was not in the store. The employee checked online. Because of COVID distancing, I did not see the product on her screen. 14" is too wide for my cabinet door. My old one that broke was only 9". Again, I wasn't clear on what employee was ordering because of social distancing.

I should have paid more attention to the length in the product description as it is exactly the same towel bar I purchased several years ago - except it is about 3 inches too long. It will pop off the cabinet door if I pull too hard on the kitchen towel. Totally my fault and hopefully it will work better once we replace our cabinets, anyway.

I went to the store for these. Since they were not in stock, the clerk offered to order online for me. Because of corona virus, I was not standing where I could see the screen. I don't recall her telling me how wide it was. It doesn't fit my kitchen sink doors because of my hardware handles. If I had known she was going to charge me shipping, I would have gone home and done it myself when I could have measured. The ones I had before which broke were only 9 inches, which of course, I didn't have with me. If I had seen both on the shelf, I would have known which was which.

Towel bar comes off of cabinet easily when you pull up on the towel to wipe your hands. We added some padding with adhesive underneath on the backside which adhered it to the back of the door and that solved the problem.

I had kept my dish towel on my oven handle, but this was inconvenient when I wanted to use the oven. Now I have the towel on a nearby cabinet. The towel rack fits perfectly and doesn't get in my way when I need to open the cabinet door.
