Works well, fairly easy to set up (once you figure out that connecting works best when not docked). Easily 'confused' by complex navigation, and one seems to keep cleaning the same area until the battery is exhausted. Clearing the navigation history seems to help - I have had to reset one of the two I bought three times so far in the three weeks I have had it. Hoping for a software update on this one.
Ok but not great....... This is my second roomba. The first we owned was the 980 and it was awesome until it just suddenly stopped working. We got this one in hopes of not spending as much as we did on the last one. I love the fact that it has rubber brushes which is a must! I don't like that it just randomly goes around in no pattern which causes tons of missed areas. It also just keeps going even after the bin is full which causes it to leave clumps of dirt and dog hair on the area rug. If I had it to do over I wouldn't waste my money on this model and instead spend more and get the higher end one.

I have used this robots for probably around 2 month now and I am unpleasantly surprised by how load it is. I also notice that even if I leave it on for a while it does not pick up much dust. It also gets stuck a lot and the cleaning gets interrupted.
This doesn't even require a 1 star rating. Purchased this aboutl 2 months ago and just tried setting up and using it. It works on hardwood and tiles. But does not even get onto the carpet or rugs. I get an 6 error each time I place it on a rug or carpet. I called customer service and was told this only works on hardwood and tiles and not on rugs or carpets. He also suggested to buy something will work on carpets..What a joke. Nowhere it says that it only works on hardwood. Maybe Roomba should be more clear on their products. Will never buy another Roomba again. Hopefully, I can return this garbage, if not I'm stuck with it.

I got this as a Christmas gift and began using it in January. It's not even the end of February and it will no longer work. I ran through all the troubleshooting steps but the mysterious "bin error" persists. If I had known it would be this much trouble I would've found a way to return the gift before opening and discarding the box.

Constantly have problems with the wheel turning to right only so it goes in circles or the "sweeping brush" not working. Noisy. Pushes rugs so we just pick them up and take outside so the floor can get done.
Bought new today and have to restart every two minutes because of a "clean the brushes" error! The brushes are NEW and clean. It is clearly faulty out of the box. A waste of money!

The new one seems to get stopped around the furniture and can't get around without sounding the alarm.
Got at xmas time. Used upstairs and found out right away it won't work because of the bump between the carpet and tile. It would get hung up going each way. O.K. not the machines fault. Took downstairs where everything is level. I have used it three times downstairs and there are areas it still hasn't cleaned. It just keeps going back to the same area where the sofa and recliners are. I noticed this morning that the brush does not turn anymore. I don't know, I will try it a few more times, before it will go in the trash.

This tool doesn’t perform as advertised. I’m sure it works OK if you have all wood floors or all carpet floors and you don’t have area rugs. It doesn’t transition from floor types very well (actually, it is horrible). It gets hung up at the edges of rugs. It also cannot complete a full cycle of more than 1-2 rooms. Our 1st floor has 5 rooms and a bathroom and it has yet to complete more than 1 large room and a laundry room. We have to use multiple room sensors to mark off smaller areas. And if you have a multi-story house, you MUST have one machine for each floor or you will be constantly transporting it up and down the stairs. For me, it’s perfect for a small 1-2 room apartment but for a larger place, I don’t think I can recommend it.
