I owned one of the first Roomba's "4110" many years ago and it just recently gave up the ghost. Being a dog owner with a dog that sheds hair daily, I searched the internet extensively to see what robotic vacuum would work the best for pets. The one thing I wanted differently than my original roomba were brushes that were NOT bristles. Bristle type vacuums and dog hairs do not mix. You end up spending many hours over the years pulling off these hairs from the bristle brushes. I finally found this new IRobot vacuum for pet hairs and at a lower price than I expected. Wow, this robot is terrific at picking up dog hairs and debris. The best part is that the bristles are rubber and now I do not have to spend time pulling off all the dog hairs. Just empty the bin and your ready to vacuum again. THANKS IROBOT! Here is a tip for all would be buyers with pets. When you empty the trash bin make sure the opening that the hairs are sucked up through is not plugged with dog hairs. If so, just clean it out before you start vacuuming again. Also, pet owners should set their Roomba to stop or pause when the bin is full. This usually prevents this backup of pet hairs. You can set this parameter in the APPS setting. Purchase this affordable if you have pets and had vacuuming everyday.
Things started out fine with this vacuum. Over time however the unit would not empty itself and the empty bin button is no longer on the app. Over the past two months the robot refuses to find the home base. It will be within feet of the base and I find it dead in another room of the house. It will spend so much time trying to find the base that it runs out of battery and cannot do a complete cleaning of my home. As I said I really wanted to like this product. It seemed to do an acceptable job of cleaning and it was fairly quiet but I cannot recommend this to anyone. I have since replaced this with another brand and am blown away by how much better it is. Finally the app is useless except for promotional emails. Choose your next robot vacuum carefully.

I'm very surprised how well it works, been putting this purchase off for some time.

This is a fantastic robotic vacuum. I had an Eufy but I like this iRobot better. Cleans efficiently and better!

My irobot was very easy to set up and program. I can either use my phone or alexa to start it. It gets under furniture and beds and really does a great job. I was skeptical at first but am really glad i chose the irobot. Would recomend it to everyone.

I use the vacuum to keep my house looking ship shape all of the time. It makes it easy to give a quick vacuum to all of the places when it is needed. I can limit using my big powerful vacumm.

Works as indicated but can be loud, system mapping does not always work sometimes it works and sometimes it says it can't complete, takes about 40 minutes to complete one room.
