Dog lovers best friend vacuum. ·

I owned one of the first Roomba's "4110" many years ago and it just recently gave up the ghost. Being a dog owner with a dog that sheds hair daily, I searched the internet extensively to see what robotic vacuum would work the best for pets. The one thing I wanted differently than my original roomba were brushes that were NOT bristles. Bristle type vacuums and dog hairs do not mix. You end up spending many hours over the years pulling off these hairs from the bristle brushes. I finally found this new IRobot vacuum for pet hairs and at a lower price than I expected. Wow, this robot is terrific at picking up dog hairs and debris. The best part is that the bristles are rubber and now I do not have to spend time pulling off all the dog hairs. Just empty the bin and your ready to vacuum again. THANKS IROBOT! Here is a tip for all would be buyers with pets. When you empty the trash bin make sure the opening that the hairs are sucked up through is not plugged with dog hairs. If so, just clean it out before you start vacuuming again. Also, pet owners should set their Roomba to stop or pause when the bin is full. This usually prevents this backup of pet hairs. You can set this parameter in the APPS setting. Purchase this affordable if you have pets and had vacuuming everyday.

Things started out fine with this vacuum. Over time however the unit would not empty itself and the empty bin button is no longer on the app. Over the past two months the robot refuses to find the home base. It will be within feet of the base and I find it dead in another room of the house. It will spend so much time trying to find the base that it runs out of battery and cannot do a complete cleaning of my home. As I said I really wanted to like this product. It seemed to do an acceptable job of cleaning and it was fairly quiet but I cannot recommend this to anyone. I have since replaced this with another brand and am blown away by how much better it is. Finally the app is useless except for promotional emails. Choose your next robot vacuum carefully.

I always thought that the Roomba didn't work on carpets. Someone told me it did so I bought one because I don't like my Dyson. It is too heavy and bulky and hard to move around. Haven't figured out how to get the hose out to clean small places. The roomba is a bit noisy,but does a great job on the vacuuming it can get too. I haven't figured out the mapping yet. My son comes next month so I will get him to help me do that. I have two cats and lots of fur around and the Roomba picks up great. Love it and it is not bulky and I don't have to try and move it around.

This is my second purchase of a Roomba and I absolutely love it! It is so quiet! I set it to clean every morning before I leave for work and when i return the floors are totally clean. I have pets so this is a life saver with animal hair.



Horrible product with horrible customer support Bed Bath & Beyond Customer ·

After over three months of ownership, my Roomba i3 EVO has worked for less than 2 weeks, suffering numerous technical issues and problems with horrible customer support. These issues have run the gamut from getting stuck in a firmware update for over four weeks requiring the robot be replaced to an error caused by a bad battery that needed to be replaced and now reporting error 26 (poor airflow) with a perfectly clean dust bin and filter requiring the entire cleaning head be replaced. To top it all off, the level of customer service is absolutely horrendous. The first several issues I attempted to have covered under the warranty as the product arrived defective and never worked. I needed to speak with over 6 different customer service reps over multiple weeks, with several customer service reps claiming to not be able to help or be responsible for the problem and the few who said they would try to solve it simply sending an email and then disappearing, never responding to any follow ups. Overall I have wasted far more time trying to get my Roomba i3 working than it has saved me, and I wouldn't wish the horrible customer service on my worst enemy.

Loved the roomba while it lasted but it no longer will charge and the battery is not working, and right out of the manufacture warranty. Husband tried to reach out to the company and did not get a response.

Wanted to like but failed within first 3 months Bed Bath & Beyond Customer ·

I used this robot less than 15 runs before it showed error 26. I do not have a messy house and I sweep regularly I was using this to clean where I couldn't reach with a vacuum. I'm disappointed that it was unable to charge itself, find its home, finish jobs, and would get "stuck" and I would find it in the middle of the floor with nothing around it. The automatic emptying was not useful I would find my robot constantly running trying to empty itself after the first run. That really should have been my first red flag to return it. The customer service for warranty and questions was not helpful. Overall the robots potential and when working is great but it was unreliable and a waste of money.

Error 26 IRobot3 doesn't work Bed Bath & Beyond Customer ·

I purchased the IRobot 3 with trash bin a year ago. I had to return 2 units within 30 days to the store as they had immediate error codes and did not run. I used the current unit for 2 months and it has sat unused. I have cleaned the bin and rollers according to manual as well as replaced both the filter and trash bag and keep getting error 26. The cleaning head should not need to be replaced on this expensive unit after only two months of use. The unit doesn't work and is useless. A lot of money to spend and not have a functioning vacuum

I just want my old Roomba back Bed Bath & Beyond Customer ·

After my old Roobma died I was excited to buy the I3 with a docking station. It worked okay for about a month. And then the problems started. My husband has spent an huge amount of time with customer service and the machine would work for a while and then randomly forget it had ever been programmed. We moved two months ago and have been trying for weeks for it to connect so that we can program it. I was thinking that I just got a bad machine and came to the site to buy a replacement unit, but after reading all of the reviews, I am just going to dump the entire thing (14 months after purchase). The sheer amount of time we have invested in this stupid thing is staggering and we are now done. It is really sad since our first roomba was a tank and ran faithfully for three year.

Replacement fixed the full bin error for about 4 months Bed Bath & Beyond Customer ·

My initial review was about the bin always being full. Customer service reached out and after confirming necessary maintenance, they sent a new bin (essentially replacing the connector for appropriate suction). And it worked! For almost 4 months. Now we're back to the bin always being full because the suction isn't enough to actually pull the debris all the way into the bin. I really loved my basic 694 vacuum. Unfortunately, the i3 (without self-emptying capabilities) just isn't designed well. I appreciated customer service trying to help, but now it seems they have no response and I'm left with a paperweight.
