So I have the roomba e5 and ordered replacement brushes, 2 sets, and the one with the rounded edge with the yellow end do not fit. It won't allow the clasp to shut. It appears to be exactly like the original but clearly doesn't fit. Any suggestions?
These brushes are the WORST. I love our Roomba, but each time I've started with a new set of brushes the dark green one is cut in half with hair within a week. I clean the brushes EVERY DAY after (and even in the middle) during the cleaning. So Roomba's responses above about maintaining the brushes are moot. It's just poor quality because it's happened with every set of brushes we've gotten. It kind of works after that thankfully, but despite clearing brushes with each cleaning, my current dark green brush is in 4 pieces. Even if I replaced them just once a month, paying hundreds each year to maintain something that already costs hundreds, is just not worth it. They need to take responsibility and figure out how to make them stronger, or let us buy them in bulk at a significant discount.

I recently brought and replaced the main brushes (certified iRobot brand) and found the change in design. When installing the new brushes I found the fit to be a little snug but thought nothing of it. The vacuum (i7+) has ran two times since the change but each time I get multiple errors saying to clear the main brushes. Nothing is wrong with the brushes when I looked and even took them completely out and put them back in multiple times. I am really disappointed with this change and the issues I have experienced.

They ate noisy and pick up far less dirt than before. I hate them and I wish I robot would stop changing this sort of thing stop making functionality changes to my iRobot. At this point it is not even the same unit I purchased 4 yrs ago....it's borderline trash.

A good companion to help keep the rooms tidy. Especially helpful if you spill something on the floor (accidentally fumbled with the sugar and got all over the kitchen floor) at night and was too tired to get the vacuum. These robots do require a bit of maintenance. You'll need to wipe the insides and occasionally snip any tangled hairs that catch on the rollers. I've never had any parts break on me.

We got this as a Christmas present and only use it occasionally. So big surprise and disappointment when one of the rubber brushes split in half! Seems like dog hair shouldn't be such a challenge. I hate vacuuming but this isn't saving me much time.

Defective and they obviously don't care, just look at the reviews going back for over a year. I ordered replacement brushes to replace the original which lasted close to a year. The new brushes broke the very same day. After a very long time on the phone with customer service, they tried to get us to pay for a second new set instead of offering to send a replacement. The replacement they sent broke in the same spot within a week.
