For best results, use daily as your body lotion. Smooth on evenly and completely. Use sparingly on knees, elbows and ankles. Allow several minutes to dry prior to dressing. Wash your hands after application. You will begin to see a subtle development of color within several days. If color change is not as noticeable as desired, apply more frequently. I love this stuff! If it weren't expensive I would use it all the time just for the smell! It has just the right amount of fragrance. Enough that you can smell it all day but it isn't overpowering. And it does produce a tan if you use it for at least 3 days. Make sure you give it that much time to start showing if you need it for an event. I'm currently using it to even out my pale legs to my tan arms because I'm wearing a short dress for my boyfriend's graduation :)
I used this product. It worked wonderfully, apply just like lotion. No smears. The only downfall, is a pretty big downfall, the smell!!! One close friend said it smelled like formaldehyde, and my boyfriend said it smelled like cat urine. The thing is when I thought about it, it did. I was embarrassed that they didn't tell me sooner.

I like this product. The only thing I disliked was how watery the product was for me and it would spill if I wasn’t careful but overall I did see a difference in my skin color and did develop a subtle tan!

This is a very gradual tan, if you’re looking for something very light and not too dark then you should try this. Super easy to use as well!

Does it work as a self tanner? Yes! Does it moisturize your skin well? Nope. It’s honestly probably dried my skin out more. I think you’re better off using a different self tanner and a higher quality moisturizer. Your skin will thank you!

One of the better self tan lotions. It is quick and easy to use and the lotion lasts longer than the mouse. It can give an orange tint if coated heavily.

I've used soooo many self tanners, I mean like 30+. Jergen's is definitely an awesome drugstore brand self tanner. The color is good, it's not splotchy if you know what you're doing & the color last a decent amount of time. I would say that you have to pay more attention to application than some other brands but it's definitely worth the money!
