Jobar U.S. Patrol Alarm Security Bar

Poorly made. Does not sense on handle type doorknob very well.

This is a sturdy, heavyweight bar that does the job well. However, if you’re looking to use the barking dog sound, as I was, don’t expect their dog bark to deter anyone! The dog sounds like a lap dog rather than a watch dog. And the barks repeat so quickly that any person (adult or child) could tell it's phony. The alarm sound is better. I’m using without either of the sounds.

I brought this for a neighbor that was having a problem sleeping at night because she was worried about someone trying to get into her apartment. Since receiving it, she is able to rest comfortable at night. She loves it.

I just bought this order on 7/31 for a family member but because I have used a similar product for years, I expect these to do well too.

I bought this security bar for 2 reasons, one for protection from the door opening and the other reason was because of the siren/barking dog noise when someone touches the door knob. The siren/barking dog never worked at all and when I tried to get in my house from outside, the door would still open. Save your money and don’t buy this item.

I am overly joyed with the products. Someone has tried twice to get through the door while my wife was home along sleeping and each time the alarm managed to frighten them away. We are forever hreatful for the purchases.

I like the door stop effect which is what was important but I can't make the siren noise go off no matter what I do. live alone and really wanted this feature any suggestions?

I am very satisfied with this purchase. It is just what i needed. My son has not installed yet but will in the next few days. Thanks.
