I registered and received this set for my wedding. The dots are gold, and the rim is platinum. We use it with gold flatware, platinum-rimmed wine glasses, and gold chargers. I love the way everything works together regardless of if it's silver or gold. Very versatile. Used multiple times and no signs of wear either from use or washing so far!
