Glad I ordered for the care kit and it was delivered very quickly. When I changed my water filter, I was amazed. The old filter was extremely dirty and apparently was overdue to be changed. The descaling solution showed me that the mineral content in my water was much higher than I anticipated. I had a wonderful, fresh cup of Nantucket Blend coffee this morning.
Purchased this over the weekend. I replace the filters regularly but decided a thorough cleaning would be great...WRONG! I've run three full reservoirs of water through it and can still taste the solution. It's been three days and I still cannot get a decent cup of coffee at home :( I have had to purchase daily now. VERY dissatisfied to the point that I may never get a decent cup out of again and have to get rid of it!! (only got 3 stars cause wouldn't let me post otherwise!!)

Unfortunately the de-scaler didn't work. The light is still on.

Still early, 3 month kit with 2 months worth of filters, one month of rinse pods and i presume 3 months worth of descaler (haven't used that yet). Added it to auto-shipment with coffee which may come every month. 3 month care kit contents don't "add up". Get feeling ill be drowning in descaler if i dont drop automatic shipments.
