Has a carafe that I can use when guests stay or I can use when i need a little more coffee. Great product
I really wanted to like this machine. I conducted a lot of research on coffee makers and settled on the K-Duo Plus. I quickly found out that the coffee maker does not heat the coffee to a reasonably hot temperature and, when it pours into the stainless steel carafe, it cools down even more. Add a bit of 1/2 and 1/2 and you have, at best, a luke warm cup of coffee. Quite disappointing given the price of the unit. The K-cup dispenser is only slightly better in terms of a hot cup of coffee but that can be attributed to the direct pour into a mug. I don't enjoy a scalding drink of any sort however, a hot cup of coffee would be nice!

After 3 years of excellent coffee from our Ninja maker, it was time to replace it. After researching the dual carafe / K-cup coffee maker options, we settled on the Keurig K-Duo - as it offered what we thought was the best of both worlds. K-cup for when only a single serving was needed, or the carafe for our morning multi-cup consumption. We were impressed by the design, and features. However, we could not get it to make a good cup of coffee. The K-cups tasted like flavored water, the carafe coffee was inferior to our Ninja. This was hugely disappointing, so we are sending it back.
Bought this machine to replace a previous broken Keurig. Had this new coffee maker about 12 hours. The coffee grain basket kept filling up with water and doesn’t drip, just overflows out the sides. Had to keep emptying the hot water from it and when I called customer service, they had me put coffee in it. Used a paper filter, no filter at all, the mesh filter, etc. The coffee grains overflowed and now there’s hot water and coffee everywhere. It took 4-5 minutes to even start brewing a carafe but I was reassured that is not normal. After several attempts, the Keurig representative said it was defective right out of the box and wanted to send a replacement in 5-7 business days. It’s impossible for me to go 5 to 7 business days without a cup of coffee. So after insisting, they agreed to send me a replacement in 1-2 business days. So now no coffee today, several wasted coffee attempts, and a half a bag of coffee wasted, out $160.00, and coffee-less for the next few days, I cannot even give a review of this machine until the replacement arrives and I mail the defective one back. The representative did email me a coupon for a free bag or box of coffee on select brands so I am grateful for that.
I like the versatility of this but I hope this replacement lasts longer than the last one which began brewing 1/2 cups after less than 2 years.

This is just okay for me . I bought it as part of a bundle but am honestly thinking of using it as a secondary option. My other keurig was just fine but I wanted to try the carafe option , the coffee needs to be consumed almost immediately or it gets cold , this keurig does not have any other options outside of just coffee like the others had water only or iced coffee and this one is JUST coffee . Using the single cup with your own coffee grounds was a mess so I have to stick to kcups . It just wasn’t a good buy on my part after having a perfectly good older keurig.

For some reason both my machines produce water in the carafe portion every time I use the single serve side. So eventually if I don't empty the carafe part (which I rarely use) will spill over. I don't like this at all.

It was given as a Christmas present and the power button didn’t work. Your company sent me a new one and now the pod option doesn’t work. I’m very dissapointed!

Started out good but within 6 months started noticing grinds in coffee cups. Tried cleaning but figured out that the top that holds the pods does not stay closed so unless put a heavy cup on top to hold the lid down I will have grinds in coffee- what a waste.

I bought a new one like two years ago… Before the year was over the lid would not close so they sent me a replacement one… Now, my replacement one the lid doesn’t close as well… Never buying this again
