As with most paper straws, these don't last very long in a drink. They get soggy pretty quickly (within 20 minutes or so) and make it impossible to sip anything through the openings. The stripes and bright colors are adorable though, and they are great for parties. Once they hit any kind of liquid, your time is limited with their usefulness.

Love the adorable, colorful stripe pattern on these paper straws. They are good quality, but get really mushy and soggy after about 10-15 minutes of use. I keep them in a holder in my handbag and use them when I go out to eat to save plastic and be better for the environment, but take extra because they do get really, really soggy very quickly. Cute, though!

Love the colors and the goal of using less plastic. However, the engineers still need to find a way to incorporate the flexible bend for the straws to be more efficient and practical for elderly and toddlers alike.

I knew they were paper, but you cannot have them sit in the water too long or they will become soggy and may be difficult to draw liquid after awhile .

I have tested several brands of paper straws. They all unwind in the cup within minutes, except for these. These are very, very good.

I have left this paper straw sitting in a glass of water for 2 hours and did not wilt.

This was my first time trying paper straws. I love them! I was afraid they would turn to mush and I'd see pieces floating in my glass but that's not the case. They last longer than I expected. I also feel good knowing I'm helping the planet.

These are great. Just the write length and can last all day.
