I can’t say enough good things about this product. it’s so comfortable to use when shaving my beard. I don’t feel any pain whilst using it. despite its smaller size, the electric shaver is fast to use and easy to operate. I bought it recently and definitely feel this is value for money. Would recommend
I don’t have a very coarse beard. It’s Somewhere in between fine and coarse. I thought I’d finally found a trimmer that would be able to get rid of those scragglers you just can’t get for some reason with beard clippers. I also don’t keep my beard thick. It’s just above a 5 o’clock shadow to just below the 5mm guard. I tried the 3mm or whichever size is the next one down from the 5 and it just had one heck of a time trimming through my gruff. I decided to use my old beard trimmer to get through the thicker stuff and then tried going back with this trimmer but it was taking quite a bit of time and didn’t do any better than cheaper trimmers I’ve purchased. Not impressed at all. I even had a hard time getting that nice straight edge cuz these things just don’t do a good job of it.

Upon reading other reviews to gauge whether or not my experience with this trimmer was worth giving an honest review myself, I see that I'm not the only unsatisfied consumer here. This makes it easier for me to share my experience with this product. I bought this trimmer 3 months ago for my boyfriend and I. He likes to keep his head shaved smooth and his previous Norelco was nearing the end of it's tour. I, like my boyfriend, appreciate a smooth shave, but in another area. So I happened upon a display that advertised these trimmers and I bought it. I was shaving daily down there with a razor and was starting to have difficulty getting it smooth. I thought this would be my saving grace. It wasn't. Still isn't. I never have gotten a smooth shave whatsoever. I tried regular dry shaving and in the shower the day I bought it, not an improvement. It didn't want to trim the hair. So my boyfriend tried it on his head and was equally unsatisfied although his results were more satisfactory than mine. I even allowed my hair to grow back out, trimmed it and then used this to groom it and it is not cutting the mustard. It doesn't even seem to have enough power maybe. I've had to plug it in and finish the job later since the first time I used it. Wow. I didn't expect a miracle but this was a complete let-down. Master of none in my opinion. I hope P&G can step up their game because this is a total fail. I've just gone back to using a straight razor.y

I do not know about the negative 1 star reviews. But this trimmer is the ONE. Easy to use, good battery life and water resistant. I don't have to shave because trimming is possible.

I received my trimmer in the mail and charged it over night so I could use it the next day. I was not able to get through a full trim of my moderate stubble beard. There is supposed to be a charging light indicator of the charge level but mine does not seem to be operational. I really like how close it can trim, but if I cannot get through a ten minute trim without it dying the battery could be a lemon. I have had the Phillips version of this trimmer before and was happy with it, but I am partial to the Gillette brand, so when this came out I wanted to check it out.

The comb lengths are useless (never mind the fact they don’t fit well to begin with). For stubble, you need shorter lengths like .5, 1, 1.5, etc. I’ll have to look for something better.

Bought this today thought it was going to be the same as all the other electric razors ive bought. Quite wrong was i! Shaves great all these 1 star reviews sound like grumpy old men!

Lost the power cord and there are no replacements on the market. It also doesn't cut long or thick hair, it gets stuck and pulls . It is good for medium/thin hair but not great by any means. I've had much better luck with wahl. Much sturdier products

I purchased the style trimmer 3 weeks ago to maintain my stubble beard. The 1 guard doesn’t properly fit and the trimmer is basically useless as I purchased it for the stubble.
