I've owned other brand processors in the past and nothing compares to this one! The size is perfect. If you were need to chop or purée something larger, just do it in a few loads. No need to spend hundreds on the larger processor. One tip- when placing the bowl onto the processor and turning handle to the right, make sure it's turned all the way and you hear a click. I was doing this incorrectly at first and thought it was defective. It just needed turned a touch more until the click noise was made.
At first I couldn't figure out how to get the top cup aligned perfectly on the base so that the thing would start, there aren't clear aligning points and you just have to keep moving and jiggling the thing around until it falls into the right place so you can use it. It is pretty small, too little for me to make my full recipes for breakfast bites in it, if I could go back I would probably get a larger one. Also I tried to grind up my flax seeds which are small and this thing couldn't do it, they escaped the blade too easily and I had to use my smoothie grinder for it instead. The two modes are good and it is relatively easy to clean. The quality overall with all the plastic pieces doesn't really resonate with me, I was hoping this thing would have the same heft as my stand mixer, however it serves it's purpose of being small and taking up less space in my already cramped kitchen. So you can't have it all with this bad boy but for what you pay for it it's a great value and if you are working with smaller quantities of ingredients you should be good.

Love it works great. Just be careful with basket cause if dropped pieces come off and u may not be able to use it if wrong pieces break off. I dropped it on carpet was surprised when some pieces came off the basket. Works great otherwise.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is fine to blend a few things; however, I was trying to replace a small Cuisinart that chopped, grated sliced and blended. Whether you are on chop or purée, this processor pretty much purées everything. I am pretty unimpressed. I have a larger Kitchen Aid food processor and it is too big and very difficult to clean. So frankly I have to look for something different because this just isn’t “cutting it.”
