[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Living alone and just cooking for one makes me never really want to use my full size blender. This hand blender is the reason why I have now given my full size blender away! It came packaged really nice and has a lightweight design. Though it is lightweight, you can still feel the quality to it. I have used it for mug cakes, mashed potatoes, salsa, etc. It is very easy to use and the only way it turns on is if you have the little button on the back pressed down. I do like that little safety feature. It's also fairly quiet. A full size blender is much louder than this hand blender. It has a good amount of power behind it, is easy to use, and cleans up in no time. Can't go wrong with Kitchenaid!!!
I bought this cordless hand blender 2 months ago and I basically use it to make my baby's food. Very bad experience because 2 days ago I realized blender arm plastic attachment is breaking and not only that I saw a piece of plastic in my baby's food before giving it to him. VERY dangerous. This part should be made out of Stainless Steel. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS product even though All my appliances are kitchen aid and I belief is a great brand!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In other reviews, I was warned that the safety feature was cumbersome. I found I had no problems whatsoever in using this hand blender. I made my very first pasta from scratch using this tool (mashing carrots for recipe)! Can’t wait to use it for butternut soup.

Catering business and i love being able to grab this and use it wherever i may be...at the stove or at another counter ...its light and easy and i love that the charger works with the other 2 Kitchenaid cordless pieces I own. It holds its charge for a long time which is a bonus

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have owned a Kitchen Aid hand blender for two years and bought our daughter one this year for Christmas. They are wonderful for blending a portion of your soup to use as thickener and great for sauces and gravies.

I bought my hand held blender a little over a year ago and only used it once and it no longer works. It won’t charge. Don’t waste your money on this one.

Blenders give you a big glass jar to wash. And they are so noisy, & they take up a chunk of countertop space. I finally found a rechargeable hand blender (couldn't deal with a cord tying me down) that wasn't too expensive, so I bought it. And very glad I did! Easy to use, easy to clean, tucks away neatly in my corner cupboard.
