I was excited to receive the Food Processor with Dicing Disc Stand Mixer Attachment.... so far I only used the slicing disc to slice applies for making a pie. I honestly liked the methodical action for how it sliced the apples... a slower speed than an actual food processor... (which sometimes just goes too fast). And I think it is more convenient for the product to fall into a bowl from the shoot. With a processor you have to continually take the machine apart to empty the bowl. So far so good. I can't wait to try the dicing disc...
I bought this thinking it would be cheaper and more space efficient than a stand-along food processor. In retrospect, I wish I had just spent the money on one instead of this thing. It's really awkward to use, both because of how it sticks out from the mixer, and it's a different kind of motor/motion than a regular FP. I am not impressed with the performance, it mushes things up, rather than slicing or shredding, even when the food is very cold. Also, it cannot do other FP functions such as chopping and blending, or cutting butter into dough.

I had been looking at this processor for a few months and I am finally happy!!! I had a hard time justifying the cost but must say it is worth every penny. I have used all the attachments and my only disappointment is that I am unable to rice cauliflower. I will keep trying…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used the shredding for carrots and it worked great but for gabbage it worked but was hard pushing thru, tried both the fine and larger, maybe if I cut the peices smaller. Have yet to use the dicing as I did that before I bought it.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) As soon as I got it I attached it and started chopping, shredding, slicing. Everything came out perfect. Powerful motor made quick work of this. I am so glad I bought this. It has saved time and it usually takes a day for me to do all the chopping and shredding that this thing does efficiently and in about an hour. Love it.
