I wanted to replace this peeler with my old one which was dull but it did the job. The kitchenaid peeler is sharp but the area of peel is a lot thinner and shaves closer to the skin of a vegetable. Short answer is that it takes longer to peel. I got tired of it and went back to my old peeler, my husband threw it away... why!? you dont know what you got until its gone. Life.
very sharp , actually glides thru when peeling
This is the sharpest peeler that I own, Will be purchasing more for friends.
This works grate (pun intended). I used it on sweet potatoes and carrots and it glided through like a breeze
