I had the plastic version of this attachment previously and did not know that it came in a metal version. The metal version has more accessories, such as its own cleaning brush and includes the sausage stuffers. I thought it cleaned more easily than the plastic version. We like to grind our own burgers and this fills the bill very well. I like how sturdy this one is. Overall, I am happy that I found this accessory
I bought this grinder to make raw food for my cats. Perfectly aware that the chicken hearts and livers grind better mostly frozen as I have used other grinders in the past I made sure they were all set. But as I sent them thru, the fluid that comes out of them somehow was able to run into the mixer. The is no gasket or block between the grinder and mixer and the fluid just pours all thru and comes out underneath and onto the bit under where the mixing bowl sits. It's natural, the fluid comes out of some cuts of meat, you can't fully freeze them, especially the liver, you'd never be able to grind them. But this is ridiculous. I sat there and poured hot vinegar water thru when I was done just in the hope the mixer wouldn't stink afterward. The grinder works great but I had to clean meat and meat juice out of my mixer. I followed all directions it's just the 2 are open to each other. I'm hoping my mixer isn't ruined.

Got the meat grinder for Christmas, and blood has been getting into the internals. The mixer smells like Death
