KitchenAid® Spiralizer Thin Blade Accessory Pack

I purchased for an over abundance of zucchini from the garden :). It worked ok, but there was still a lot of wasted zucchini. I tried carrots and sweet potato and it's hard to get it positioned right to start and then struggled to get through the veggie! I would get a few good spiral turns, then it would push through to the device that holds the other end of the veggie. I had high hopes for this product, but not worth buying or storing it.

Used for pie apples didn’t last an hour. Plastic slide started to bind on rail, deemed inoperable. Slide should be constructed from another material. Cheep plastic slide.

Received as a gift 5 years ago - disappointed in it then - tried to use again now - looked for the online videos to see if tips available that I missed - website not helpful - this attachment is utterly disappointing. Zucchini does not spiralize - spins in one place. Too bad as I am a loyal KitchenAid large and small appliance owner

We bought the bowl lift mixer and in spite of numerous attempts to adjust so the bottom of the bowl will mix. Have been trying to overlook this and other failures and the cheap warped plastic cover for the mixing bowl. Then we bought the meat grinder attachment and it has to be the worst design ever. The grinder itself worked great but the way it attaches to the machine allows the juices run down into the inner workings of the mixer head. I had to remove the top, the motor cover to try and clean the inside. I wasn’t aware it was a problem until it started stinking beyond description. When remover the motor cover it had oops of fish juice inside that stunk so bad it was beyond description. We are trying very hard to clean it hoping I don’t have to remove the gear cover tomorrow to clean side even deeper parts of the machine. I could never recommend this machine and the meat grinder attachment to anyone. If I had known I could include pictures I would have of the rotting fish juice, but we have just spent the las5b2 hours cleaning it. Do not buy this attachment or this mixer if you want quality and ease of use. As I finish this review I will be searching for a new mixer. If I could give 0 stars I would.

This spiralizer blades cut really well . It makes healthy food by replacing pasta to veggies. It also makes beautiful salad

A great tool, used it a couple of times and I'm impressed. However if the vegetable is very hard like a kohlrabi, it may not cut thru it and spin on the little grabbing pins. So it won't work on all things, but enough to make it worth while and fun to use. The core of the fruit must be solid and not soft. Perfect for potatoes, apples, etc.

this is a great product. Only thing...I wish KitchenAid was more explanatory about this being just a starter piece for any spiralizing. You must buy the rod, peeler and skewer and other blades in a separate pack. These are just 2 more supplemental blades. You have to have the other pieces for the system to work. So...all in all, it wound up being a more expensive purchase than I bargained for. But these pieces are nice. It made great spirals out of farmer's market cucumbers.
