When I was told I had Parkinson's I didn't know that I wouldn't be able to use such light-weight flatware in any variety. I found a Knork in a medical catalog and have been looking for more ever since. I can control my food myself and not worry where or how I eat it, it goes in my mouth. Also having the weight of it just in my hand makes me so much more confident.
These were just what I was looking for, simple lines and HEAVY! But in practice, this finish shows spots way too easily when washed in the dishwasher. And yes, there was plenty of rinse agent. Also, I could not find in the description that they were 18/0 until after I got them home, in tiny print on the box. I was wanting 18/10. To be honest, I probably would have bought them anyway, because I liked the look and feel SO MUCH, but it would have been nice to know up front. I was a bit concerned with the amount of curve to the fork tines, it's so much more pronounced than usual, but it hasn't been a problem at all. I wanted to use my 20% off coupon at BB&B, so I got them, but wonder if I could have gotten something better if I'd looked further...

My silverware is over 20 years old and I could not find anything that I liked as much, until now. I really like how the pieces look, they have a nice weight to them and they are comfortable in my hand.

I adored this set so much I bought two but within a week of using a could not get the taste of metal out of my mouth. I have since stopped using them and it's getting better. Super disappointed as they are the best looking silverware I've ever seen.
