L'Oreal® Féria® Smokey Pastels Permanent Haircolour Gel in Smokey Blue P1

I’ve been using this L’Oréal Féria P1 Smokey Blue for about 2 years now. My hair was colored blonde with grey roots coming in. And I was getting tired of coloring my hair & doing root touch ups every 2-3 weeks ! And I totally don’t like the look of the transition from any color hair to a half a head of grey roots ! So I thought I’d just color it all this pretty shade of Smokey grey with a hint of blue (P1) . Well it doesn’t really say to use it on grey or blonde hair,… it’s supposed to be for darker hair. So my hair turned out like an indigo blue and very bright ! I was shocked at first but it faded a little after each week and wash went by. I got lots of compliments on it and was loving my new hair color. I love it best at about two weeks so now I just add in some extra conditioner into the color mix itself so I don’t get such a bright color,… but a more mellow color . Note this is how it worked on mine ,….it could be different on yours ! ,but I am loving it ! And L’Oréal , you are not allowing me to pick grey as a hair color, in your questions . Why is that ? That is my color I am trying to cover with your products.

This was the exact hair color my daughter wanted and has used in the past.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used this smokey blue color for perhaps the last 8 months, only re colored twice. I like it because I can add some temporary streaks of other color with it. (I do wait for all temps to be out before I reapply) I did a I normally do, this products Plat. blonde on my roots, then this p1 all over, as it does fade some over time..... let's just say it's far more sapphire than smoke. I don't know how it's so dark on my hair, it's NEVER done this before!! So much for being able to mix it up and play around with temporary colors with it. If I didn't notice the clear round stickers on both ends of the prod box, I'd swear someone had messed with it.

I expected silver-like, light silver or dark silver, cool silver or warmer silver… some shade of gray was expected and instead my hair turned out some strange purple pastel that looks bluish in some lights and it appears greyish in the dark… my hair was salon dyed platinum blonde. I was looking forward to do my own color and now it’s ruined!

Not pastel at all. Or light. I have dirty blonde hair. Bleached it to white two weeks ago. Used the Smokey Blue as directed. My hair is now a very dark electric blue with possibly dark lavender? What the heck? It’s a pretty color, but not at all what was on the box or expected. It looked a bit dark when it was on. Having used and love Feria for years I am shocked this is so far off the mark. I’m hoping it will fade fast. My hair is super short and grows fast do it’ll be cut off as quickly as it grows. So much processing makes me a bit hesitant to bleach it back right away. It’s as nice color but no where near what it was supposed to be. So deeply disappointed in this.

I just bought 3 boxes and did not fully turn my hair the colour it should so disappointing now costing even more

I love the color but I dyed it about a week ago and it keeps washing out. It’s ruined towels and sheets since I dyed it. I have washed my hair many times and till the water runs clear and still each time I shower it’s still coming out.

My hair color is medium to dark brown so I didn’t have high hopes for this. I thought the color wouldn’t show up in my hair but I was wrong. Now it did take to my hair it’s not as vibrant as the picture but it came out good.
