we bought this twice and it broke both times - just stopped playing music or stopped spinning. new batteries did not solve the problem

The product does not fit our standard crib the height to hook it on doesn’t adjust
Mobile worked beautifully for about 4 months. 2 of which it barely got any use because my LO didn’t sleep in the crib where it was set up yet. Now she is 5 months and we where changing the batteries every other day. I just realized today that it’s the mobile-not the batteries

It’s super cute and perfect for my elephant themed nursery.
I like that this matches other products for the nursery, it is cute and easy to assemble. The music is fine to play through the baby monitor and lull parents to sleep too. I guess overall I would’ve skipped the mobile altogether but was a first time parent and didn’t know. It’s an iconic nursery item and has child development implications but for safety you’re supposed to take it down at age 5mos so it’s expensive for a short time use. Plus if babies sleep better in the dark, they can’t see the mobile moving so it just plays music- there are cheaper and longer lasting products for music/ soothing.
