Lasko® Desktop HEPA-Type Air Purifier

Had high hopes for the Lasko Desktop HEPA-Type Air Purifier because of the name brand and we like their fans. However, this purifier is just terrible. Just after the return period ended, it started making loud noises like a motorcycle or helicopter. Now whenever we try to turn it on, it sounds like we are in an industrial zone. It's complete junk.

This purifier is the best. You can set how many hours you want it to run. It takes care of food orders, smoke and generally just cleanses the air

Portable will be taking it to work as protection from indoor allergens and COVID-19...work indoors with poor air quality and don't trust my employer to do anything about the ventilation

Air purifier is quiet and functional. Fan speed variable and one can see by particles being collected by filters machine is working. Well worth the price.

It is advertised in bed bath n beyond as a 3 state system filtration system includes a carbon filter,voc filter, and hepa type filter The manual pg 4 states hepa type filter comes preinstalled..which is a lie Pg 5 of the manual shows how to put the filter inside the purifier Pre filter Activated carbon filter Hepa type filter The leaflet states my purifier includes 1 Activated carbon filter 1 Pre filter And what was sent to me is a hepa type filter and activated carbon filter NO PRE FILTER.. Emailing company to get a pre filter sent to me free of charge.

My Lasko Air Purifier does a good job of cleaning the air. In about an hour, my living room smelled better and seemed to be cleared of most dust particles. My breathing was easier due to less allergy particles which has always caused me problems in the past. The only negative is the fan noise which isn't terrible but could be quieter when sleeping in the bedroom.

Smaller than I anticipated. Does run quietly.

I like the size of it and the efficiency of the purifier. Glad we purchased it.
