Horrible ITCHY sheets! Beware! These sheets feel very soft when I glide my hand across them BUT then when I lay on them OMG they are sooo itchy!! I washed them at least four times and still so itchy! I cant take it anymore so I am going to have to ditch these itchy shameful sheets and buy a new pair from a different brand, of course. Since I no longer trust Ralph Lauren to deliver sateen soft NON-itchy sheets. Now I am stuck with these taking up space, maybe I will use them for a drop cloth while I am renovating my houses!! I dont even want to give them to anyone for they may stay up all night itching away like I did many, many nights!!!

The Spencer sateen sheet sets are a staple bedding item for the past ten years. The resilience of the colors is outstanding and the durability of the fabric is commendable giving me a sense gratitude, for money well spent.

I really wanted to duplicate the wonderfully soft and luxurious sheets I’d gotten several years age in the Isles of Capri design which has been discontinued. I held out for Ralph Lauren because I loved these sheets so much - it just felt great to get into bed. I couldn’t tell by the product descriptions which current style would be the same. These seemed to fit the description closest but as it turned out they’re disappointingly scratchy. (Also not available as just the bottom sheet that was all I really needed.)

Nice sheets, I thought they would be thicker. They also run a little large for a standard mattress.

Actual shade of color is MUCH lighter than pictured. At least what I received was. Quality is excellent.
