I bought this bowl thyinking it was a good size for soups etc. I found out quickly it does not keep soup warm, it cools off very quickly. It may be a good bowl for small salads or ice cream but not soups.

I was looking for a medium size soup bowl that will be added to my collection and that size is really ideal for serving soup and single person size salad.

I bought as a gift for a friend to go with her other butterfly meadow dishes. She uses it daily

I bought this dish as a serving bowl based on some of the reviews. While beautiful it was smaller than I expected. No fault to BBB or Lenox, I'm just not good with measurements! 6 1/4 all purpose bowl sounded bigger than large soup bowl which is how I see it. Still gorgeous so I'm keeping it but it's no mashed potato bowl if that is what you are looking for.

I love this pattern, the ease of cleaning and general use. I can't imagine a better choice for dishes!

My husband and I saw these plates and just loved them, so pretty and cheerful! Lenox has a wonderful reputation, too. We bought the set with 18 Piece Dinnerwear Set and also bought 8 rice bowls to use for cereal or fruit. For Valentine's Day, he surprised me with the set of three adorable bud vases that match! We are very pleased with the Butterfly Meadow and plan to add to it.
