I'm an older person who does not wish to lug a 24 lb. mixer up out of the cabinet. Just not interested in that, but wanted the mixer. So I found this rolling stand and decided to give it a try. It works so well! My mixer is in a corner, yet I can roll it out to use, even move it back and forth like parking a car and get it exactly where I want it. When I use the mixer, the platform does not get in the way at all. I was initially concerned about how it would look on the counter, but now, meh, it's just fine. I would recommend this stand to anyone who like me, is concerned with the weight of the mixer. This platform solves that problem.
Overall, the product is a bit too long, would prefer a shorter one - or more customizable product. The wheels are a little funny - it doesn't pull straight out, kind of at an angle. I'll be curious to see how it holds up. It looks nice and serves it's purpose, but those are my two unmet desires. :-)

I had to put my KitchenAid stand mixer in a corner. This makes it easy to pull out and use. Fits perfect and rolls great.
I wanted something to move my kitchen aid mixer back and forth on the counter and this works perfect.
I have been eyeing this for a long time and comparing it to other products that just came up short. I finally pulled the trigger and bought two - one for my espresso machine and the other for my KitchenAid mixer. Both have worked very, very well. Smooth movement, sturdy, able to work under heavy load, and easily cleaned. I just wish they had some that were wide enough for my Zojirushi bread maker! I love the idea of allowing a very wide portion of the items on my countertop to be shifted closer/farther based on what I need to do. I would definitely repurchase.

I bought this to hold my KitchenAid mixer. My mixer is heavy and the plastic platforms aren't strong enough to hold heavy mixers. It is bigger than standard plastic platforms but it sort a generic size to hold heavy appliances.
I've been wanting some kind of rolling platform for my heavy Kitchenaid Pro stand mixer for some time, and was delighted when I stumbled across this. The silver color looks elegant and unobtrusive in my kitchen, and the roller are smooth and quiet. Moving my mixer into my work area is so easy now - I am so pleased!
