I received a whole slew of Luigi Bormioli glasses as wedding gifts back in 2013; high ball, short, martini, red & white wine... I love them all and am back to get champagne flutes! All of these glasses have made it through multiple moves in a short amount of time (3 to be exact). I put all glasses in the dish washer (probably should hand wash) and I have never broken, let alone chipped, a single glass. Perhaps the bad reviewers got a "bad batch"? Which is a shame because these are beautiful glasses. I would recommend to anyone.
Registered for these glasses after the Bed Bath and Beyond associate that was helping us told us about their durability and the great warranty. And they look great! Unfortunately, the first one chipped just a few short months later. No problem, there's that great warranty. The problem with the warranty, is that once you pay for shipping for four glasses (and you will have to replace them), it would have been cheaper to buy a whole new set. So when our second glass broke (within a year), we decided we'll just buy a new set every time a 4th one breaks. Although I did write to Luigi Bormioli customer service to express my disappointment in the warranty, with NO response. Well, our third glass broke, within a year. We will now be looking an a different brand of glasses. It's just my husband and I, no children, no rough handling or dropping these glasses. They're just not durable at all.

Oh dear. These glasses are beautiful but I have two left. Just waiting for them to break like all the others. The reviews that don’t mention they break cannot be accurate. Or they wrote them before they started breaking at the slightest tap of another glass when loading them or putting them in the sink. Love the look. Hate the poor quality.
We are in love with these highball glasses. They are beautiful but are so very fragile! I’ve bought set of 4 replacements about three times whether in the dishwasher or while cleaning. Since I have kids now, I will look for others that are more durable for now if I continue to break them.
Glad I got them, they go with anything.
I love these glasses because of their size and shape, but they crack like crazy. I hand wash these glasses and if they even tap another glass that is sitting in the water they crack and brake. I am on my third set.
I recently bought very similar glasses from another store and in less than six months almost all of them broke. I love these beautiful glasses made from Italy with a guarantee for not breaking. They are very sturdy, and I don't have to worry about them breaking if they accidentally bump something else in the sink or the dishwasher. Since the last of my older glasses have broken as of this purchase, I'll be buying more of these glasses in the coming weeks.
received 12 of these glasses in October 2020 and 6 months later I am down to 3. They break so easily. We had an older dishwasher that I thought was the issue, but we bought a brand new one, and it’s still happening. Such a shame, they’re nice looking glasses but terrible quality.
These glasses are amazing. I don't really care much about what I drink out of, glasses to me have always been the same. But for some reason, these are just amazing. The top of the glass is thin around the rim and how circular it is, just makes the drink flow easy. I know that sounds so strange, but it is really a great glass. AND not to mention they are gorgeous!
These are the perfect size. And with the heavy bottom they are very durable and stable.
